The Best Puppy Dog Food in the World is?

Puppy Dog FoodConvincing consumers they offer the best puppy dog food around costs commercial dog food companies millions in advertising annually.

Television ads commonly spout claims of balanced nutrition all while featuring happy, heartwarming scenes of cute and playful pups. In addition, the product itself often comes in a sleek package with the words ‘wholesome’ or ‘natural’ somewhere in the design.

This slick advertising helps the consumer to believe that dog food companies have their pet’s best interest in mind. But if this is so, why is today’s population of domesticated dogs being assaulted with everything from periodontal disease to obesity to cancer?

In general, these advertising tactics work pretty well since they tend to distract consumers from ever really taking a good look at the ingredients label. Even if they do, the vague listings of bone meal, flavor enhancers or meat by products probably won’t mean much.

What dog owners need to know is that the pet food industry is actually an unregulated industry that makes millions charging for a cheaply made product. A food source comprised of road kill, diseased, dying or disabled animals from slaughterhouses, restaurant waste and spoiled grains hardly makes for the best puppy dog food.

What is the Best Dog Food for My Puppy?

The best dog food for puppy will always be the diet Mother Nature intended: a diet of raw fresh food. Unlike overcooked commercial dog food formulas, a diet of raw fresh food offers live enzymes, phytochemicals, antioxidants, flavinoids, vitamins, minerals, a full range of over 35 proteins, natural calcium, phosphorus and much more.

What does this mean for puppies and their owners?

  • A boosted immune system- say goodbye to dog allergies, diabetes, cancer, periodontal disease, shedding, diarrhea and other health issues as nutrients heal and bolster the immune system
  • An extended lifespan- instead of 10 to 13 years, dogs can live up to the 17 to 20 years nature intended
  • A reverse of chronic health issues- problems such as dog hip dysplasia and dog obesity can be turned around within months if not weeks
  • A drop in vet bills- dog owners can see up to an 85% drop in expenses
  • Improved behavior- no preservatives, additives or other chemicals to spur aggression or depression
  • A noticeable vibrancy- more confidence, more energy, more vitality
  • Good economical sense- using inexpensive cuts of meat means the end of overpriced dog foods

As Dr. Doreen Hock, DVM states about holistic dog food diets, “Based on the current literature and our own experience, we believe that pets thrive… have more energy and vitality, their coats are thicker and shinier, their teeth need cleaning less often, they have fewer allergy problems and they live longer, healthier lives…”

  1. “a diet of raw meat and bone the best puppy food” – is an incomplete diet, rather, it is the ‘whole prey’ that creates the best puppy food – indeed, the best food for all carnivores. They need the the stomach/tripe and organs etc., – all in proportion to how they occur in the prey.
    Raw food rocks! Kibble kills!

  2. Hi Dakota, thanks for your input.

“Raw meat and bone” is the basics and as I state in my book ‘Real food for Dogs’ tripe/organs /veg to round out the diet.
I’m a big fan of Tripe, wonder food for dogs, cheap, easy and better cure than any drugs.
