This Little Known Dog Health Insurance Makes Your Dog Healthier

Dog Health InsuranceThe concept of dog health insurance is almost comical when considering a dog on a commercial pet food diet is almost always going to suffer some type of health problem.

So who is the clear winner? The pet owner, the veterinarian or the insurance company?

There is no doubt that veterinary medical procedures have become outrageously expensive. In fact, since 1997, veterinarians have been hiking prices for their services at more than twice the rate of inflation.

Insurance for dogs is supposed to be a way for pet owners to be able to afford these services rather than face the possibility of euthanizing a beloved companion when a procedure costs more than they can afford.

Best Dog Health Insurance?

What dog owners need to know is there is a way to drop vet bills by 85% altogether without ever having to pay a single dime in dog insurance. It is a safe and natural alternative that is cost effective. It is also an alternative that dogs find rather tasty: a fresh raw food diet.

A diet of raw meat and bone provides a full balance of nutrients that not only work as food but medicine as well. In a dogs natural raw food diet there are:

  • live enzymes
  • phytochemicals
  • antioxidants
  • flavinoids
  • vitamins
  • minerals
  • natural calcium
  • phosphorous
  • a full range of over 35 proteins

Unlike over processed commercial foods, the nutrients come whole and completely unaltered. The canine physiology readily processes each one effectively and efficiently.

When 90% of all disease in dogs is linked to poor nutrition and the vast majority of pet owners feed a commercial dog food diet, it makes one wonder who exactly came up with the idea of dog insurance. Especially when pet food companies admit that 85% of dogs by age four will suffer from periodontal disease from using their product. Other scary statistics of cancer, arthritis, diabetes and obesity should have pet owners dumping the cans and bags by the millions without a second thought.

Real Health Insurance For Dog Owners

The best dog health insurance for our canine companions is a diet of raw meat and bone, here’s why. Within months if not weeks of switching to this natural diet, problems with allergies, infections, hip and joint problems, shedding, diarrhea and foul gas fade away never to bee seen again. Even chronic health issues such as diabetes and obesity can be reversed.

The diet dogs were always meant to eat also has marked results in preventing and healing dog cancers, something I have witnessed happen. When a dog is eating the sustenance that works as medicine each day, illness and disease simply have no chance to take hold.

Says Dr. Charles W. Coleman, DVM on the subject of raw meat and bone, “I’m trying to get everybody on it. It’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me in my whole career.”

A dog raw food diet is also the best dog health care insurance for pet owners. Because dogs rarely ever find their way to a vet’s office after switching to a natural diet, pet owners can see a saving from official research figures of $10,205 over the life of their dog. This is a saving of $62.50 a month over the lifespan of your dog when fed a raw food diet instead of a commercial diet from cans and packets.

No longer do you have to pay out the private the dog health insurance cost, you’ll actually be be saving money, your dogs health and longer term your peace of mind.

  1. I was feeding my dog raw food and when I took him to the vet, she nearly laughed me out of the office. In a very condescending way, she let me know that feeding raw food was not the best for my dog because he could get food poisoning. She said just because one vet recommends it doesn’t make it healthy. I was mortified and started feeding regular food again.

  2. Hi Linda
Such a shame you listend to your condescending vet. Food in a can or packet is more toxic to pets than any raw food could ever be. Your dogs stomach acids are from 5000 to 10000 times stronger than ours, hence they can pick at a dead rotting squirell in the park without upset. Vet’s in the main are ignorant of canine nutrition, they were not educated about it at veterinary school and generally follow the party line on promoting commercial offerings at their surgery-the commision can be up to 40%!
The canine physiology has been developed over millions of years to run on raw food fuel-a law of nature your vet is happy to break at great distress to many of her patients i’m sure.

  3. Wow. So what kind of raw meat to you feed the dog? I just read this post, so maybe I need to poke around your site more. Thanks for the info!
